Annotation

They have theoretical and practical knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medicinal products, their preparation, physical, chemical, biological, microbiological, and clinical evaluation. They have knowledge of drug metabolism, mechanisms of action, rules of drug usage, the action of toxic substances, and the evaluation of scientific data relating to drugs. They are competent in assessing ethical, legal, and socio-economic aspects of pharmaceutical practice. The graduates are proficient in the principles for maximizing the effects and minimizing the risks of pharmacotherapy. They are qualified to provide drug information and consultative services in prevention, health promotion, and the use of medicines to other health professionals and the public.
