With a master’s in animal genetics from Zagreb, I came to CU for my PhD in evolutionary biology. For four years, I’ve been a student ambassador. I recharge in the countryside and love chatting about animals (especially dogs), nature, science, fun facts, space, cartoons, and food.
I’m a Dentistry student in Pilsen. Originally from Syria, I moved to Czechia after high school, completed a premed year, and passed my entrance exams with ease. Now, I help prospective students with admissions and their new life in Pilsen while staying active through sports and the gym.
I earned a journalism degree at 17 and worked for local and international media, including Radio Liberty. Then, I moved to Prague and continued as a freelancer. In 2023, I joined CU's Russian Studies and now, I am preparing for PhD already while representing CU as an ambassador.
I am a PhD candidate, lecturer, and an Internationalization Coordinator at the Geographical Institute. My research explores urban identity in Prague. CU’s strong mentorship, research opportunities, and academic freedom made it the perfect place for my academic career.
I’m in my final year of studies, focusing on history and anthropology. I chose CU for its respected, yet affordable education and interdisciplinary approach which has deepened my understanding across fields. Plus, Prague offers an enriching cultural experience beyond the classroom.
I’m a medical student in Hradec, driven by a passion for medicine and helping others. Beyond my studies, I love traveling, exploring new cultures, and writing. Long walks in nature help me recharge, and CU’s academic environment fuels my dedication to making a difference one day.
I am a very sociable and sily person. I’m passionate about sports, mostly swimming, climbing, and snowboarding. I love coffee and coffee dates, meeting new people, and being part of vibrant student life. I’m always happy to help and excited to share my experiences from my alma mater!

I came to CU as a double degree student and graduated from PPE in 2024. I loved Prague for its vibrant cultural scene and living history. Since my graduation, I have been living and working in Switzerland. I love studying, hiking, arts and exciting books, mainly in combination with a good coLee.
I moved to Prague at 18 to pursue my passion for medicine. I challenged myself proving that living in another country can be exciting and fulfilling. I love meeting new people, exploring different cultures, meditation, crocheting, and finding new ways to stay creative and balanced.
I graduated high school in Denmark but did my Bachelor's in Prague. Now, I am developing my cooking skills, and instead of coffee, I am an avid tea drinker. I really enjoy travelling and discovering new places. I love talking about my experiences from my alma mater, so don't hesitate to reach out!
I found that CU and Prague are truly international hubs, which is one of my favorite things about being here. I’ve made friends from all over the world here - what an amazing experience! I helped found an intl student organization, The Circle, so if you come to Prague, make sure to Czech it out! ;)
