Pilsen
Pilsner Urquell of knowledge
Pilsen is located one hour from Prague in the foothills of the Šumava mountains in the west of the Czech Republic. It is home to one of our medical faculties and the University of West Bohemia. The Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen offers medical and dentistry studies, plus postgraduate programmes at the Biomedical Centre affiliated with the University Hospital. Famous for its world-renowned Pilsner lager, historic sites, and vibrant cultural scene, Pilsen is an international city with modern facilities, attractions, and easy access to Germany.
Hradec Králové
The sound of greenery
Hradec Králové, also known as the Salon of the Republic owing to its unique fusion of architectural styles, is home to the Faculty of Pharmacy and one of our five medical faculties. It’s a vibrant student city due to the presence of two other universities. Travel time to Prague is around 90 minutes. The city offers plenty of green spaces and sport opportunities with its easy access to the nearby mountains. The city is renowned for its music festivals and the Petrof piano factory.
Poděbrady
Castle as a classroom
Poděbrady is a charming spa town on the Elbe river, just an hour from Prague. Known for its healing mineral springs, it offers a peaceful atmosphere ideal for study and relaxation. The town features beautiful historic sites like scenic colonnades or the Poděbrady Castle, where our students actually have classes! With its tranquil vibe and easy access to Prague, Poděbrady blends the serenity of a spa town with international student community life.
