My journey at CU was incredible — full of challenges and growth. Now, as a doctor starting my next chapter, I’m grateful for everything this city and university have taught me — academically and personally. I enjoy exploring cultures and staying grounded through creativity and mindfulness.
As a medical graduate and Charles University ambassador from the UAE, my journey was filled with growth, challenges, and unforgettable lessons. Studying at one of Europe’s top schools shaped who I am today. I’m always here for future students—reach out anytime!
Fresh General Medicine graduate from Charles University’s First Faculty of Medicine here. Six years of pulling all-nighters, caffeine overdoses and a few (okay, many) identity crises along the way, I seem to have survived to answer any questions you may have. Feel free to send them my way!
I chose CU for its strong reputation and unique program in geopolitics. My interest in human rights and international cooperation led me here after studying law in Mexico. CU’s global environment, expert faculty, and opportunities like visiting NATO headquarters made my studies an incredible experience.

I moved to Czechia in 2018 to study General Medicine at the First Faculty of Medicine in Prague. After graduating in 2024, I began working as a resident in Neuroradiology at University Hospital Heidelberg in Germany. I joined the Alumni Ambassador programme because I truly enjoyed my time in Prague.
I came to CU as a double degree student and graduated from PPE in 2024. I loved Prague for its vibrant cultural scene and living history. Since my graduation, I have been living and working in Switzerland. I love studying, hiking, arts and exciting books, mainly in combination with a good coLee.
I moved to Prague at 18 to pursue my passion for medicine. I challenged myself proving that living in another country can be exciting and fulfilling. I love meeting new people, exploring different cultures, meditation, crocheting, and finding new ways to stay creative and balanced.
I graduated high school in Denmark but did my Bachelor's in Prague. Now, I am developing my cooking skills, and instead of coffee, I am an avid tea drinker. I really enjoy travelling and discovering new places. I love talking about my experiences from my alma mater, so don't hesitate to reach out!
I found that CU and Prague are truly international hubs, which is one of my favorite things about being here. I’ve made friends from all over the world here - what an amazing experience! I helped found an intl student organization, The Circle, so if you come to Prague, make sure to Czech it out! ;)
The rich history of Prague provided the perfect background for an excellent academic education. Having since become a public servant in national security and defense, I still draw great inspiration from my experiences and colleagues at CU! Studying at CU was a privilege, its hospitality a blessing

I was amazed to find support from all departments of CU as an expat student. Besides, I acquired cultural competency amongst my peers from all over the globe, which I benefit from in my professional life today. CU truly opened up the world to me, and I am grateful for this experience. About my studies.
