The Faculty of Arts is one of the four founding faculties of Charles University and a traditional centre of education in the Czech lands. In Czech language, you can choose from over 200 programmes, including languages, literature, teaching, philosophy, art history, and history. Available in English are the Russian Studies or Logic and a range of postgradraduate study programmes. Graduates of the faculty hold prominent positions in science, culture, and politics.
