Our faculty is one of the youngest and most dynamic faculties of Charles University. It consists of five institutes focusing on key social science disciplines: economics, communication studies, international studies, sociology, and political science. We collaborate with the public and private sectors and non-profit organisations at an expert level. The faculty offers a wide range of international mobility opportunities, allowing you to explore all corners of the world during your studies.
CERGE-EI
Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education - Economics Institute (CERGE-EI) is a joint workplace of Charles University and the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. CERGE-EI has an absolute charter issued by the New York State Board of Regents in the United States, and is fully accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth & Sports of the Czech Republic. Its unique Master’s programme in Economic Research is designed for students interested in applied economic research, data science, and public policy.
