Our faculty is one of the youngest and most dynamic faculties of Charles University. It consists of five institutes focusing on key social science disciplines: economics, communication studies, international studies, sociology, and political science. We collaborate with the public and private sectors and non-profit organisations at an expert level. The faculty offers a wide range of international mobility opportunities, allowing you to explore all corners of the world during your studies.
CERGE
Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education (CERGE) is a joint workplace of Charles University and the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. CERGE has an absolute charter issued by the New York State Board of Regents in the United States, and is fully accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth & Sports of the Czech Republic. Its unique Master’s programme in Economic Research is designed for students interested in applied economic research, data science, and public policy.
