2024 - změněno Graduates of the Sociology and Social Policy programme are experts who are able to analyse complex social problems of modern society using sociological and broader social science methodology. They also understand the social policy systems that aim to address these problems (health, social security, education) and can identify the deficits and causes of failure of these systems. They understand the rationale, logic and mechanism of the welfare state in the Czech Republic and abroad. As a result, they are competent to solve social problems, to design and implement effective and empirically based public policies at the state, regional and local levels. They are able to present and communicate proposed solutions using modern information and communication technologies.
