Annotation

Graduates are qualified for independent work with the modern, standard Japanese language (both spoken and written); they have a general knowledge of Japanese history, Japanese literature and modern Japanese society, and are well prepared for using their language and communicative skills in a broad range of areas (politics, economy, culture, media, education). They can seek careers in language-related services, education, public administration, diplomacy, tourism, mass media and business.
